De plus, d'après ce résumé, ce film est dramatique puisqu'il ne se fonde pas sur les textes et modifie sur le fond l'idée que les gens (incultes et souvent ignorants des détails de leur propre religion) avaient de cette période de la vie du Christ. Cela s'appelle de la propagande anti-chrétienne, qui met en scène des faits sous forme authentiques et réaliste, voire reconstitués alors que ce ne sont en rélaité que les images perverses de la vision d'un homme ignorant et frappé au premier abord par la violence: un acteur.

goertzel: In the Gospels of the Bible it is written that Jesus said that, to enter the kingdom of heaven, we must again become as little children. For this reason, I find the demonizing of the infant and the children in the Passion disturbing, and frankly anti-Christian.

He said to his disciples, ‘These infants being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom. ” Later in the same verse Jesus’ disciples ask him: “Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?” Jesus answers “When you make the two one, and when your make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same… then will you enter [the kingdom].” bizarre
en tout cas, il conclut: In a subtle way, what Mel Gibson is delivering to us is a kind of “Passion of the Anti-Christ,” a Christ whose ego has been identified as God.
